Scottie Scheffler
Way too good and way too cheap. This really feels like a free square when everyone else seems to be fixated by Morikawa and Spieth…well I like Spieth too. Regardless, I’m not passing up on the cheap pricing of Scheffler. The guy just finished 2nd at the PGA Championship, and has had plenty of time of the past few weeks to keep the batteries charged. What else can you really say about Scottie at this point? He’s having one of the best seasons we’ve seen in quite a while, and his current competition with Jon Rahm is only making this season even more special for both players. If you don’t know what Scheffler can do on the course, you haven’t been watching much golf…the guy is really good.

Akshay Bhatia
Did he pick up his caddy and girlfriend on Instagram? Damn right he did. Yet, Bhatia is going fairly unoticed in the field this week. There are things I really like about his game that just fits this course. This is a ball stirkers paradise, and he ranks 5th in the field in said category. In addition to that, he ranks 6th on approach, 5th in GIR, 24th in strokes gained tee to green, and 8th in scoring. While many are using the RBC Heritage and Harbour Town as a viable comp, I would like to point out that the fairways are more penal there. Getting off the tee was a problem there, and hopefully it is all figured out for the weekend.

Emiliano Grillo
Grillo, Grillo, Grillo. You were on such a roll. Dominating. So we decided to take you off the don’t play list. Here we are again debating what to do, and you’re once again welcomed to the 4ORE Play. Now Grillo did miss the cut last weekend. Just looking at his scores and he was bad. Yet, don’t get confused by one bad hole. He actually played quite alright but had some tough breaks on a really difficult course. Here Grillo will be able to break through due to his elite iron play, and the small greens these players are going to see this weekend. We often worry about putting or Grillo, but luckily these greens are tiny, and we should see him at his best. Can we count on him to win? Hell no. Yet, we can bank on a top-5.

Jordan Spieth
The injury will make people second guess this play. I get that. Yet, this Texas boy loves this course and he always has the potential to win here based on his course history. Spieth did not look dominant last weekend, but proved enough doubt about his injured wrist with a top-30 finish. Yet, we’ve seen putters get hot and get wins here before. Spieth can do that. Yet, more impressively is that he ranks 18th in the field in approach, 14th in scoring, 12th in tee to green, and 17th in around the green stats. Spieth can easily come out of here the winner.

Can't Do It
-Rickie Fowler- I want the old Rickie back. I really do. Yet, even this version gives me pause to eat 17% ownership at max price in the 8K pricing tier. There are players in this range that can dominate any projected performance, and I'm not afraid to look elsewhere.
